Sometimes when I'm snapping photos, I make assumptions.
"How long have you been together?" I asked.
"We're not. We're just friends."
I was, for whatever reason, taken aback.
"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" Second stupid question on my part.
"It's great!" She yelled as they walked away.

"Can I get your picture?"
"Let's go!"
"So, what's the most important thing?"
"Life!"
"Life?"
"Yeah, life, 'cause I almost lost it two years ago. Come to think of it, I also almost lost it seven years ago when I got hit by a car. But I'm still alive."
Off camera, her friend kept yelling, "She's a superstar!"

"Yeah, sure, man, no problem. You gonna get my game too?"

"No. We only got her a couple of weeks ago and we can't decide."
