Anesthesia

"I'm a nurse anesthetist. Probably the most intense things I got to do in that job was when I did my children's rotations at St. Chris's in Philly, and we did the anesthesia for liver transplants, which would be like eighteen hour procedures. Amazing. And, you know, the kid would be on his deathbed from hepatitis, have the transplant, and the next day he's sitting up in bed watching cartoons. Just amazing."
