Him: "I've lived here since I was born. I met her in college, and we were apart for a bit, and then we met each other again and we've been together since."
"So when you met in college, how did you know that she was going to be the one?"
Her: "I like this encounter!" (Stares at him.)
Him: "She's easy to talk to. She makes everything comfortable for me. She makes me laugh."
"How long have you been together?"
Her: "This time around, two-and-a-half years, but when we dated in college it was only a couple months."
"So how long a gap was there?"
Her: "Sixteen years! I moved back into the area in 2012 and we started chatting and things happened up." 

"I remember the first gig I ever played as a musician. It's on the top of my mind because I'm in front of a vinyl store. I'd been taking drum lessons since I was six years old. I'll never forget my father, he passed away about eleven years ago. When I was thirteen years old, after taking drum lessons for seven years, he drove me to the gig. I was filling in for a wedding band. I didn't even have cases for my drums, but he helped me unload the drums out of the trunk of his car, kissed me goodbye, said, 'Good luck,' and left. (Laughs) Thirteen years old. And I've been playing professionally ever since."  

"What do you like about her?"
​"Ummmmm... Her."

"The best thing that happened to me is when I got my name. I was born two weeks after Charles Lindbergh visited my country. It was British Honduras at the time; now it's Belize. My father was a poultry farmer and they had an exhibition. Since Lindbergh was a notable, they asked him to be a judge. When the thing started, one of his hens cackled and laid an egg. Two weeks later I was born and they gave me all of his names. He was Charles Augustus and I'm Charles Augustus." 

"We met in P'Burg, at the store, and the lady in the store said, 'He's very nice.' I said, 'You really mean that?' And she's a good judge of character, the lady that runs the store, she's good people. So I said, 'Well, maybe I'll give him a try.' So I gave him a try, and then he dumped me! And then I seen him today and I told him I fell in love with him a while ago, and he finally got it. (To him) You got it?"

"I started a business, so I'm hoping to get that fully up and running, get the website up and hopefully quit my daytime job."
"How long have you been dreaming of this?"
"I'm three years in, but it's a lot of prototypes and all that stuff. It's a custom drum set, a compact drum kit. Everything packs up into the box except the cymbals. I have, like, six patents on it."

"I'm moving out of my mom's place with my daughter. I'm getting a place in a few weeks. I'm packing. It's kind of coming along."
"Why are you moving out?"
"It's been very difficult since I'm her daughter and I have a daughter, so it was like she's more on top of me, like, 'You can't do this! You can't do that!' And then she's trying to baby me at the same time. I can't do that no more."
