I've always wondered why Mike Roi calls his band "The Secret People." Now I know why:

"The Secret People came about through a bunch of different friends of mine. I never knew who was going to play from one show to the next, and it was a revolving door of a bunch of friends in New York City. So I just called it 'The Secret People' because it was always a secret to me of who was gonna play with me from gig to gig!"
