"Bite the bullet. Life is like a bow; it draws you back, but eventually you let go and it launches you forward. Things are going to seem bad, but they're always going to get better. Like at States for swimming. I'd just graduated high school so it was going to be my last meet and it was our final event. We were seeded first, but unfortunately we came in third and I felt like I was responsible for that because I was the only one who didn't drop time; in fact, I kinda gained a little bit, but then I just decided to let go of the pain because there's no point in it. I was out at Bucknell University and I was going to go to my hotel room to spend a night of gaming with friends--why let that hold me back?"
