"Shit, when you end up homeless. When you end up homeless and have no roof over your head. And the ironic thing is that I was staying with a friend of mine who was a drug dealer, and I used to watch him and his wife being high all night on meth-amphetamines and he ran around and did nothing. And I used to think to myself, 'That was me.'"
