The Posey Peddler

This is Debra from The Posey Peddler on Cattell Street. Her favorite flower is something fragrant: "I love when there's a flower in the room and you know it right away."


Me: "What's the coolest part about being located on College Hill?"
Her: "The ebb and flow of the college. It's all exciting in September because it just gets going again, and then we go through Christmas break, and then they're gone and they come back in January, and in May there's all that excitement for graduation. So, it really kind of rejuvenates you every single year because there's a new class every year. We have students that live upstairs and there's always a new group, so it's fun. I just like the ebb and flow."
Me: "What's the coolest part about working with flowers?"
Her: "Ohhh, flowers make you feel awesome! It's neat to be able to give that *to* somebody. You know, to take a beautiful creation and hand it to somebody and see them smile. It's wonderful."
